There are three ways to update Hisense smart TV software.
Method 1: Direct software update
If your Hisense Smart TV has an internet connection, it’s easy to update the firmware using this option. The Hisense TV firmware updates can be installed quickly and regardless of your TV model. However, before starting the process, make sure that the internet connection is stable and fast. We recommend connecting via a LAN cable here, but a WLAN connection is also sufficient in most cases.

Method 2: Hisense TV software update via USB flash drive
Updating your smart TV software via USB is a good option, especially if your TV doesn’t have internet access or the TV can’t find an update. Unlike the other option, updating the firmware via USB takes time. Also, not all flash drives work for this operation. The recommended formats for the USB flash drive are FAT16, FAT32, exFAT and NTFS. The flash drive must have enough space to transfer the downloaded firmware to the TV. You can format any USB stick in a suitable format.

Once you’ve confirmed that the USB flash drive meets all requirements:

Method 3: Contact the local Hisense customer service
If you have an older Hisense model, the above two options may not work. In this case, contact the local Hisense customer service for an update. The representative may ask you to bring the device to a store, or they may send you a USB stick with a software update for your model. When you get the USB stick with the latest updates, use Method 2 to install the updated firmware.
