Grundig Fire TV Edition
The Grundig Fire TV Edition is a model series from Grundig that has the operating system of an Amazon Fire TV stick as software virtually one-to-one. Ironically, Amazon Prime was not available in Grundig’s own app store. Today, the cooperation goes so far that even the remote controls of the devices look very similar to those of the Fire TV stick. In terms of performance and functionality, the new Grundig Fire TV Edition TVs are superior to their predecessors. Therefore, we recommend that you also buy the Grundig Fire TV Edition TVs when you buy a Grundig.
Grundig software updates
Finding Grundig software updates can quickly become tricky. Normally, however, it is quite simple: You select the “Settings” item and then the “Firmware Updates” item. If no updates appear here, but there are newer ones, the whole thing becomes a bit more difficult. You have to download the update yourself, either your TV has a web browser or you have to drag the documents onto the TV via USB stick. We have found the page with the firmware updates for you.
